Our Receptionists

Sue Martin:

Sue's most enjoyable experience as an employee at Powell Animal Hospital is meeting the new puppies and kittens and watching them grow with their families. Sue & husband Dave, relocated from Erie, PA in 2003 and she began working for Powell Animal Hospital in March 2004. They share their home with 9 cats and 3 dogs.

Kristen Ward:

Kristen has worked at Powell Animal Hospital since August of 2013. She is currently in school, slowly working towards her pre- vet degree. She has 2 dogs of her own- a boxer named Sadie and an American Staffordshire Terrier named Chloe who keep her on her toes all day, every day. She loves being able to come to work and use the knowledge that she learns in school.

Lee Anne Williams:

Lee Anne has lived in Powell her entire life and graduated from Powell High School in 2010. She is now studying at the University of Tennesee-Knoxville, and while she is unsure of her major, she dreams of one day owning a farm with a lot of land and plenty of animals. For now, she shares a modest apartment with her cat, Leo, and cares for the pets at the hospital as if they were her own. Her favorite part of the job? Giving the boarding animals lots of special attention while they're away from home.

 Phyllis Muckle:

Phyllis says the best thing about her job is getting to play with the cats & dogs. If she were an animal she'd like to be a spoiled cat. When not working at Powell Animal Hospital, she enjoys woodcarving & ceramics.
